Knowledge:

§   An HND in Civil/Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or a relevant field.

Experience:

§   Minimum of 4 years working experience in a related field.

Job Description

JOB ROLE:

 

 

The job holder is to provide a comfortable and safe guest environment by maintaining equipment and environment; completing preventive maintenance requirements and responding to emergencies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

 

 

§   Coordinate the maintenance activities (machinery, facilities, rooms, grounds, etc.).

§   Maintain a register of all key equipment or items within the department.

§   Prepare a weekly and monthly review of performance and report same to the General Manager.

§   Review property-related data, such as inventories, budgets to obtain information on property status, needs, and availability.

§   Contact potential users and inspect inventories required for each function.

§   Request funding within budgeted limits for purchases of supplies and equipment, equipment repair and maintenance, and alterations to premises.

§   Prepare plans, standards, and specifications for equipment maintenance, repair, and inspection.

§   Carry out inspections of property and services.

§   Supervise maintenance staff.

§   Conduct performance appraisal/review for all members of the department.

§   Prepare reports and report to management on a periodic basis or as required.

§   Carry out repairs and maintenance work as approved and required, and also based on administrative policies, procedures, safety rules, and governmental regulations.

§   Co-ordinate the activities of operations i.e., electricity, water, transportation, etc. organization, in conjunction with the Operation Managers.

§   Add Prepare & update plans showing electrical panels etc., water lock offs, & telephone outlets.

§   Any other duties assigned.
